It is often a useful and reliable translation especially for the young Sikh generation mentioned in western countries.

All sufferings and sorrows in life can end by reading Sukhmani Sahib comprising 24 staves (slokas) where begins 24 Cantos (Ashtpadi) each stanza with ten lines and five couplets. this may drive out agonies of all kind and can stir the person clear from major pitfalls in life that results in sadness. this is often the longest of all compositions of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji making people believe of the last word providence, lord the Waheguru who is guarding all folks and Sukhmani Sahib may be a pathway thereto very belief. The lines depict and teach a person to measure an easy yet blissful life with an overall concentration on the perfection of one’s self both morally and spiritually.
